They graze in fields of flickering screens,
Where thoughts are fed and rarely gleaned.
Plastic truths wrapped up in gold,
Sold to minds already sold.
We were not born to bow and bleat,
March in lines and claim defeat.
But somewhere down the winding track,
We traded fire for a scripted act.
Baa for Comfort, Baa for Likes
The shepherds smile in suits and ties,
They sell the sky, then dim the skies.
“Be good,” they say, “don’t ask too much,”
“Trust the hand, obey the touch.”
But rebels feel what sheeple don’t:
The sting of chains dressed up as “don’t.”
“Don’t question that,”
“Don’t step out,”
“Don’t dream beyond your fenced-in route.”
The Herd Moves Fast, But Goes Nowhere
They scroll, consume, repeat, react—
Each echoes louder than the fact.
Algorithms sing lullabies,
While truth lies bleeding in disguise.
But still, beneath the static hum,
A different kind of pulse has come—
A throb that says “Enough.”
A whisper breaking through the bluff.
You Are Not One of Them
If you’ve ever paused mid-scroll to think,
Or felt your heart begin to sink—
That itch that says “this isn’t right,”
Congrats. You’ve sparked your inner fight.
You’re not a number, not a vote,
Not just another anecdote.
You are the glitch, the flame, the glitch—
The one they fear but can’t quite switch.
Unlearn. Unplug. Unleash.
It’s time to leave the comfort pen,
To walk among the “why” again.
To break the trance, defy the role,
And speak from marrow, not just scroll.
No shepherd here, no map, no creed—
Just open eyes and primal need.
To feel, to fight, to truly see…
To trade the flock for liberty.
So, Will You Stay or Will You Wake?
Because truth doesn’t shout—it shakes.
And freedom? It always aches.
But it’s better than baa-ing on cue,
Better than dying without a clue.
So ask yourself before you sleep:
Are you awake… or just a sheeple in too deep?
